At the turn of the century, our little Big Island (she's just five miles long and two miles wide) boasted its crops of tomatoes to make the region the centre of the canning industry in Canada until the 1950s.

This is a ‘true to life’ freshly crushed tomato leaf from the garden aroma. Notes of just-plucked, green tomato leaves blend with hints of lemon peel and fresh summer herbs. A base of green leaves and moss intensifies the earthiness of the fragrance, and truly brings the outdoors in.

10 oz Tumbler – approximately 60 hours
3 oz Votive – approximately 20 hours
10 ml Fragrance Oil – approximately 80 uses, based on 2–3 drops per use

I love that the scent of a feeling so familiar yet so far away could be captured by this amazing candle. I grew up in The County and on Big Island and although I live on the other side of the country now, I am brought back to wonderful memories of a simpler time when I light this beauty! Whether you grew up there or just love being immersed in nature and gardening, this candle does not disappoint!
